The Kindergarten students of Narayana e-Techno School, Mohali, celebrated Van Mahotsav with great enthusiasm under the theme “Little Hands, Big Trees, Greener Tomorrow.” The celebration aimed to instill environmental awareness and encourage young learners to become responsible caretakers of nature.
The event began with a special assembly, where students learned about the importance of trees and took a Green Pledge to protect the environment and keep their surroundings clean. Dressed in vibrant green attire, the children enthusiastically participated in a range of engaging activities, including nature-inspired art and craft, storytelling, action songs, movement games, tree-themed role-play, and an awareness walk carrying banners promoting tree conservation.
The campus was adorned with colourful displays and thought-provoking messages such as “Save the Trees” and “Don’t Cut the Trees,” encouraging children to understand the vital role trees play in sustaining life and protecting our planet.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Ms. Kusum Arora As a futurEdge school we want to build sustainable future for our kids. She inspired the young learners by sharing the theme of the celebration, “Little Hands, Big Trees, Greener Tomorrow,” emphasizing that every small step taken by a child today can grow into a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future for generations to come.
The celebration concluded with the inspiring message:
“Grow Trees… Grow Hope… Grow a Better Future!”
